Professional Discipline and Regulatory Enforcement

Members of Chambers regularly advise and appear before various professional disciplinary tribunals governing varied areas of law. One of our members of Chambers sits on the Nursing and Midwifery Council fitness -to- practise panel.

Regulatory enforcement through the criminal courts is an evolving area of law. In recent years there has been new primary and secondary legislation designed to set standards and to control a wide range of businesses providing goods and services to the public. Members of Chambers have experience of both defending and prosecuting in these areas and specialist knowledge of areas such as corporate manslaughter. They can provide advice and representation to national and local regulators as well as corporate bodies and individuals facing proceedings.
