How do I instruct a barrister?

To instruct a 2 Pump Court barrister directly, please contact our Head of Administration Andrew Newey by either telephone (020 7832 1014) or email (anewey@2pumpcourt.co.uk). He will obtain from you some initial information about your case or potential case and will be able to allocate your case to a barrister with the appropriate level of expertise to suit the case and your budget. Andrew will also be able to provide you with information on how our rates are calculated.

Following which, you will be invited to our office (known as Chambers) for your free initial consultation with the barrister where your case can be more closely assessed and a more detailed estimate of cost provided. However, if it is appropriate in your circumstances you may be offered the opportunity for your free initial consultation to be conducted via telephone. You will be advised by Andrew on all the useful and necessary documentation to bring with you to or provide for this free initial consultation.
